“TBH is the kind of place where I feel passion for my work. The environment alone fosters so much productivity that value-add is not a goal, but an inherent characteristic of our work. Growing relationships at a place like TBH feels incredibly rewarding, and it shows in the work we do..”
Eric Bramlett
Senior Manager
Originally from Durham, North Carolina, I attended Appalachian State University, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Recreation Management and a Master of Science in Accountancy.
I spent more than six years at Ernst & Young in the Audit and Assurance Services practice. During my tenure, I served both public and private clients across the manufacturing, consumer products, telecommunications, technology, and retail sectors. I also acted as a regional lead in implementing data analytics tools and strategies, enhancing audit efficiency and supporting a more risk-based audit approach. As a manager, I gained experience leading large teams through digital transformation initiatives, contributing to updates in audit enablement processes, and facilitating firm-wide training programs. I worked closely with numerous clients to deliver enhanced service, including implementing new accounting standards, researching and advising on technical accounting matters, developing data-driven analytic solutions to provide deeper insights, and delivering presentations to strengthen relationships with internal audit functions.
The strong client relationships I developed in the Big Four environment reinforced my desire to join a boutique firm focused on personalized service and long-term partnerships. I found that TBH’s culture aligned closely with my values and supported both my professional growth and my relationship-driven approach to client service. Since joining TBH, I have continued to serve public and private clients across a wide range of industries, providing technical accounting and advisory services including financial due diligence, purchase accounting, process and control integration, SOX compliance, revenue recognition, public company readiness, and guidance on other complex accounting matters.
Outside of client work, I serve as TBH’s sponsorship coordinator for Junior Achievement of the Central Carolinas and sit on the chapter’s Action Council. I also devote much of my free time to training and working with local athletes on injury rehabilitation and recovery. A former collegiate football player at Appalachian State, I continue to compete recreationally in Arena and Semi-Professional circuits. I stay active with my family, exploring new interests and traveling whenever possible.
