Originally from Birmingham, Alabama, I attended Furman University where I earned my Bachelor’s in History and Wake Forest University where I earned my Master’s in Accounting.
I spent three and a half years at the Charlotte office of Deloitte in their external audit practice. During my audit tenure, I primarily served clients in the manufacturing and insurance space and gained experience in both US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards.
After leaving Deloitte, I spent two years in industry working for an asset manager in financial services and for a publicly traded manufacturing company. During that time, I gained further experiences in SEC reporting and technical accounting, including leases and stock-based compensation.
As I wanted to return to client service, I joined TBH Consulting in July 2023. I found the core values and mission of TBH Consulting to best align with my personal and professional goals. With TBH, I am able to provide value to clients in many different areas as well as learn and grow.
When I am not at my desk, I enjoy spending time with my dog, friends, and family. I also enjoy cooking, baking, reading, and yoga. I can regularly be found at the White-Water Center in the summer.
