I grew up right outside of Nashville, Tennessee, and attended the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, where I earned both a B.S. in Business Administration in Accounting with a minor in Finance and Entrepreneurship and a Master’s in Accountancy. I began my career in Charlotte, North Carolina at Ernst & Young in the Financial Services Organization audit and assurance practice.
As a licensed CPA, I worked primarily on public and private property and casualty insurance clients.
During my two years at EY, I served on both integrated audits for SEC registrants as well as statutory
audits filed with state regulators, where I gained knowledge in both US GAAP and statutory accounting principles. While a senior in audit, I was exposed to a range of complex accounting matters including reinsurance, going concern, equity offerings, and deconsolidation.
Driven by a passion for entrepreneurship and client service, I joined TBH Consulting in September 2022 to broaden my experience in technical accounting. Over the past three and half years, I have supported numerous engagements including purchase accounting, financial diligence, ASC 842 and 606 implementations, discontinued operations, financial reporting, and various other technical projects. I have worked with both public and private companies across a variety of industries. AT TBH, I have been able to deliver value-added services to clients while continuing to develop my technical expertise and critical thinking skills.
When I am not working, you can find me spending time with my husband, going to the lake, working out, hosting friend nights, and taking my dog on long walks.
