“There are numerous reasons why I love being a part of TBH. A few of them include the entrepreneurial environment, involvement in the community, and the culture.”
Originally from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, I attended Delaware State University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance. I was fortunate enough to receive a scholarship to be a part of the NCAA Division I Equestrian team during my college career which helped me to further develop my work ethic and instill the importance of teamwork.
I spent the first two years of my career at KPMG in the Philadelphia audit practice. I served both public and private sector companies across multiple industries, primarily real estate and health care, and gained valuable client and engagement experience through performing quality audits and leading an agreed-upon procedures engagement. I enjoy serving clients and working in an entrepreneurial environment, which is why I was drawn to TBH Consulting. Fun fact: I became TBH’s first official employee in March 2019.
While at TBH, I have significantly sharpened my technical accounting, SEC reporting, and process documentation skills. I have led purchase accounting engagements, a finance transformation, and provided technical accounting support to clients. I also had the opportunity to develop and deliver internal and external training programs; one of which was based in Manila, Philippines.
When I’m not serving clients, I'm spending time with the people I love, traveling, riding horses, crafting a new healthy juice recipe, going on brewery adventures to find a new sour, and playing with my dogs. I also enjoy serving on the Finance Committee and providing support to Digi-Bridge, a non-profit based in the Charlotte metropolitan area that is dedicated to bridging the technology gap and ensuring that all 21st century learners have opportunities to succeed in the digital age.
